Preservative Free Natural Skin Care

Natural Skin Care & Aging Changes in Skin

“Time Marches On”… or… “Accumulated Cell Damage”… Which is it?

Since the beginning of history, people have assumed that “aging” is a “time” phenomenon. We “age” because we “get older.” At least, that’s what we all were taught.

Until now.

Did you know that the science of skin care is taking a revolutionary change in direction? Natural skin care is now beginning to become “first choice” among women.

Women are changing their approach to skin care… and skin care is changing with it.

Natural, preservative-free skin care is leading the way. Read on.

Aging is related to the accumulation of damage at the cellular level. Aging changes in skin are NOT, first and foremost, a “time” phenomenon.

Three major factors - free radicals, environmental toxins and chemicals (such as preservatives) – are the silent culprits in this mystery.

Are you damaging your skin with skin care products that contain harmful preservatives?

Women around the world have daily regimes that include many skin care products. Most women do not typically consider the harmful chemicals included in these products.

The cosmetic industry alone utilizes over 10,000 chemicals as ingredients for use in skin care. Yet, the National Institute of Occupational Safety has determined that almost 1000 of these ingredients are definitely unsafe for human use. But, the real problem is this: Many of the chemicals used in cosmetics have yet to be tested!

We should all understand that preservatives do not make products more effective. They have but one purpose: to increase the shelf life of the skin care product. Without preservatives, the organic ingredients will begin their decay immediately after the product has been manufactured. That means bacteria and fungus will grow inside the product once it has been exposed to unclean hands.

Scientific evidence shows that both synthetic and natural preservatives have negative effects on the skin.

Many “skin care products” can seriously contribute to skin problems and can actually threaten your health.

Ironically, women are using these products to look more beautiful, but in the process are actually damaging the overall health of their skin.

What do these skin care products do to your skin?

They can actually speed up the aging process.
They can seriously contribute to skin problems.
    They threatedn your overall health
They can contribute to ongoing damge of your immune system.

If you look closely at the ingredients in your skin care products, you will find preservatives in them which contain toxic synthetic preservatives, ‘suspected’ cancer causing agents, alcohols that dry the skin unnaturally, and synthetic fragrances and dyes.
You may think the skin care products you are using are healthy and quite beneficial for you. But, in reality, they are the very products that contain ingredients that may pose a serious threat to your health.
They often provoke:

    allergies, asthma attacks, headaches,
hormonal imbalances, reproductive complications, cancers (including breast cancers)
rashes, emotional problems, many other physical problems

If the Ingredients Say Methyl-, Ethyl-, Butyl-, or Propyl…
Breast Cancer May be a Risk.
A “family” of preservatives called “parabens” including those labeled methyl-, butyl-, ethyl- and propyl-, are toxic and have been shown to be allergenic preservatives which often cause skin irritation and inflammation.

Worse, they have been implicated in the rising wave of breast cancers in women across the country!

Isn’t it time to make a safe change to a natural skin care system which eliminates preservatives completely?

If you want a safe, effective skin care product that doesn’t contribute to aging changes in skin then your products should include the following:

What Should a Natural Skin Care Product Include?
When you use a natural skin care product, check to make sure it can perform as per the following listing:

    Preservative free
    Anti-aging
    Allergy tested
Anti fungal (fungus will not grow)
Suits all skin types...even very sensitive skin
Will not cause or aggravate acne
    No Animal Testing
Anti bacterial (bacteria will not grow)

A new era of non-invasive skin care has begun

This is a huge breakthrough for the health conscious consumer and means there is no accelerated aging of the skin or risk to your health.

However, the REAL CHALLENGE is educate people how to choose skin care products that are actually safe while improving the appearance of their skin.

Simply put, people who use 100 % preservative free skin care with ingredients that support skin health can experience beautiful, healthy skin and prevent the visible signs aging.

Natural Skin Care & Aging Changes in Skin: Free Radicals

Free Radical Damage

The Real Aging Changes in Skin’… and Body

Free radicals are those chemical substances which contain one or more unpaired electrons. They can maintain independent existence and they form in the body as offshoots of cellular activity or as products introduced to the body from the outside.

As an analogy, compare the running of a car engine to a cellular production.

Think of the car emissions as the production of free radicals. The engine produces products which cannot stay inside the car without damaging the vehicle. They must be expelled or more permanent damage results.

Free radicals form, which causes damage by attacking body tissues including our skin.

This shows up as ‘aging changes in skin’. Upwards of 200,000 free radical attacks occur in our bodies each and every day.

In a healthy body, as free radicals form, the body removes the compounds by its “cellular repair system”. But, if the body is overwhelmed by the free radicals, or cannot remove the compounds… then chronic disease results.

Contrary to popular opinion, free radicals do not circulate throughout the body. The half-life of the majority of free radicals varies in a range of mere nanoseconds to that of 7 seconds duration. That means they will react within their “neighborhood” (a few microns or Angstroms near the place the increase in free radicals formation occurred):

Wherever they form, they will damage the surrounding areas, unless stopped by the body’s defense systems. This is the real issue of aging. Radical damage versus the “quenching” of radical damage. That must NOW become the REAL assumption of aging… otherwise referenced as “anti-aging.”

The body does NOT have the luxury of just filtering away any circulatory fluids in order to quench free radicals. The body’s defense systems must be fairly omnipresent so as to neutralize the results of free radicals.

That’s the reason the antioxidant protective system must remain healthy.

Since they are highly reactive substances, free radicals react readily with all sorts of cell elements… and they do so quite readily. And…here’s the issue…when they do react with cells, they damage those cells and can even kill them.

The aging of your skin is one of those health issues affected.
